Since 1919 we have serviced most gearboxes regardless of original manufacturer. Because we have so many years of industrial gearbox repair experience, we are able to work with a wide range of manufactured gear boxes.

Ideal Gear & Machine Works is renowned for our ability to repair existing gearbox drives. We have greatly increased the horsepower capacities and service life of many gearboxes by analyzing existing components and improving material gearing and bearings specifications.

We endeavour to save existing components and refurbish parts when possible, resulting in significant savings for our customers in the shortest possible time frame.

We offer assistance in redesigning customer’s gear requirements using the latest software and engineering tools and AGMA design standards. All components are manufactured to meet ISO 9001-2008 quality management requirements.

All incoming gearboxes are given a detailed evaluation to determine the best course of action and estimated repair costs.
