This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to create, modify, or repair precision parts. The candidate must monitor production, conduct quality checks, and ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.

  • Ensure CNC machinery is in optimal working condition before setup.
  • Accurately set up machinery for specified production runs.
  • Handle all aspects of CNC programming.
  • Monitor production cycles to guarantee specification compliance.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role or similar.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Ideal Gear is seeking an experienced Millwright with a passion for machinery to join our growing team. The role involves building, repairing, and setting up machinery in various industrial and construction settings, ensuring proper operation and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and repair industrial and construction machinery.
  • Weld and braze machine parts as needed.
  • Use specialized tools for aligning equipment, such as micrometers and plumb bobs.
  • Interpret and follow complex machinery manuals.
  • Transport, disassemble, and reassemble machines at different sites.
  • Maintain a collection of machinery parts.
  • Assess machinery needs at construction sites.
  • Collaborate with construction workers and engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Millwright role or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to various sites.
  • Strong communication, computational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Millwright certification according to national standards.
